The Pancha Pakshi By Date API calculates a person's Pancha Pakshi (Five Birds) activity schedule for a specific target date, rather than the current day. By accepting both birth details and a separate reference date, this endpoint enables forward planning, historical lookups, and date-specific auspiciousness analysis using the classical South Indian Vedic timing system.
This endpoint derives the ruling bird for a person from their birth nakshatra and lunar phase, then computes the full five-bird activity schedule for a user-specified date (cDay, cMonth, cYear). Unlike the standard Pancha Pakshi endpoint which calculates cycles for today, this variant allows the caller to query the bird activity schedule for any date — past, present, or future — making it particularly suited for advance muhurta planning and retrospective analysis.
The Ayanamsha system is configurable via the X-Ayanamsha header, and multi-language support is available through the Accept-Language header.
