KP Planet Significator

This endpoint computes planet-wise significators for a given birth chart using the Krishnamurti Paddhati (KP) astrology system. For each of the nine planets (Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu, and Ketu), it identifies which houses that planet signifies according to the KP rules of significatorship.

What This API Does

In KP astrology, every planet carries significance for certain houses in the horoscope. This endpoint evaluates significatorship across four hierarchical levels for each planet:

• Level 1 — Houses Occupied by the Planet: The house(s) in which the planet is physically placed in the birth chart.
• Level 2 — Houses Owned (Ruled) by the Planet: The house(s) whose cusp lord is the planet.
• Level 3 — Houses Occupied by Planets in the Star (Nakshatra) of the Planet: The houses occupied by any planet that falls in the nakshatra owned by the given planet.
• Level 4 — Houses Owned by Planets in the Star (Nakshatra) of the Planet: The houses ruled by any planet that falls in the nakshatra owned by the given planet.

In addition to the level-wise breakdown, the API returns the combined list of all houses each planet signifies across all four levels.

What Data It Returns

The response provides a structured result for each of the nine KP planets, including:

• The houses signified at each of the four levels of significatorship
• The overall (combined) list of houses the planet signifies
• A complete planet-centric view of the KP significatorship map for the given birth chart
