Lal Kitab Planet House Report
The Lal Kitab Planet House Report API generates a detailed interpretive report for a specific planet based on its house placement in a Lal Kitab birth chart. Where the Lal Kitab Planets endpoint returns positional data for all nine planets, this endpoint goes a step further — it delivers the narrative, predictive, and remedial content associated with a single chosen planet occupying its particular house in the native's chart.
The planet to report on is specified as a path variable (planetKey), accepting any of the nine Vedic planets: sun, moon, mars, mercury, jupiter, venus, saturn, rahu, or ketu.
What This API Does
Given a person's birth details (date, time, and coordinates) and a target planet, this endpoint:
- Calculates the house the specified planet occupies in the native's Lal Kitab chart using the sidereal zodiac and the Ayanamsha correction provided in the request header
- Retrieves the full Lal Kitab interpretive report for that planet in that house — covering its effects on the native's life, relationships, finances, health, and karmic debts as defined by Lal Kitab tradition
- Returns the report content in the language specified via the
Accept-Language header
What Data It Returns
The response includes:
- Planet identification — the planet being reported on and its computed house placement in the Lal Kitab chart
- Interpretive report content — a structured Lal Kitab reading for the planet in its house, which may cover areas such as life effects, favourable and unfavourable periods, relationships with other planets in the chart, and the native's karmic obligations
- Lal Kitab remedies — traditional remedial measures prescribed by Lal Kitab for the planet's house placement, such as charitable acts, rituals, or behavioural guidelines intended to mitigate malefic effects or strengthen benefic ones
- House and sign context — supporting positional data that contextualises the report within the broader chart
