The Lal Kitab Birth Chart Extended API is an enhanced version of the standard Lal Kitab Birth Chart endpoint. It generates a comprehensive natal chart based on the Lal Kitab astrological system — a distinct tradition within Vedic astrology — and supplements it with deeper interpretive and analytical data that goes beyond basic planetary placements.

What This API Returns

Given a person's birth date, time, and geographic coordinates, the API computes a full Lal Kitab birth chart and returns an enriched dataset that includes:

• Planetary positions — sidereal placement of all major planets (Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu, Ketu) across the 12 Lal Kitab houses
• House assignments — detailed mapping of planets to houses using Lal Kitab's fixed-sign house system
• Ascendant (Lagna) — the rising sign at birth, forming the structural basis of the chart
• Extended planetary data — additional attributes per planet such as dignity, strength indicators, debilitation/exaltation status, and Lal Kitab-specific classifications
• Pitra Rin (ancestral debt) indicators — Lal Kitab's unique concept of karmic planetary debts, identifying which planets carry debt and in which houses
• Retrograde and combust status — flags for planets that are retrograde or combust at the time of birth, which carry specific Lal Kitab interpretive weight
• Ayanamsha-corrected calculations — sidereal positions adjusted using the specified Ayanamsha for precise astronomical accuracy
