The Antar Char Dasha API calculates the sub-period (Antar Dasha) breakdown within a specified Major Char Dasha sign period, using Jaimini's sign-based dasha system. It represents the second level of the Char Dasha hierarchy, providing finer time divisions within a major dasha for more granular predictive analysis.

What This API Does

This endpoint drills into a specific major dasha period — identified by the majorSignKey path parameter (e.g., aries, taurus, cancer) — and computes all the Antar Dasha (sub-period) sign sequences that fall within it for a given person. Based on the person's birth details, it calculates the start date, end date, and duration of each sub-period sign within the chosen major dasha, enabling precise mid-range predictions within the broader major dasha theme.

This endpoint is intended to be used in conjunction with the Major Char Dasha endpoint: the major dasha sign is first identified, then passed to this endpoint to retrieve its internal sub-period structure.

The Ayanamsha system is configurable via the X-Ayanamsha header, and multi-language support is available through the Accept-Language header.

What Data It Returns

The response provides a detailed Antar Char Dasha breakdown for the specified major sign period, which may include:

• Major dasha sign for which sub-periods are being calculated
• Ordered list of Antar Dasha sub-periods, each governed by a zodiac sign
• Start date and end date of each Antar Dasha sub-period
• Duration of each sub-period in years, months, and days
• Currently active Antar Dasha sign within the major period, with elapsed and remaining time
• Zodiac sign name for each sub-period lord
• Sequence index and any additional Jaimini-specific attributes for each sub-period
