SEARCH ASTRO INSIGHT API DOCS
The Varshaphal Details API provides Varshaphal related calculations and insights based on Vedic Astrology principles. This endpoint is designed for astrology applications, report generation systems, horoscope platforms, and developer integrations requiring structured JSON responses and reliable REST API access.
Returns a comprehensive summary of the Varshaphal (Solar Return) chart for a given year — a consolidated overview endpoint that brings together the most important indicators of the Tajika annual horoscopy system in a single response. Rather than returning a single data point such as planetary positions or Muntha alone, this endpoint delivers a holistic picture of the year's astrological landscape, making it the natural starting point for building a complete annual horoscope.
This endpoint accepts the individual's birth details, their current geographic location for the target year, and the desired Varshaphal year, then computes and returns a rich set of Varshaphal chart details in one call. The response aggregates the key structural and interpretive elements of the solar return chart — including the Varshaphal ascendant, planetary positions, Muntha, Panchavargeeya Bala strength scores, Tajika yogas, and year lord (Varshesh) — providing a unified data payload that covers the foundational layers of a Varshaphal reading without requiring multiple separate endpoint calls.
The response includes a broad set of Varshaphal chart details across multiple analytical dimensions:
Varshaphal ascendant — the rising sign and degree of the solar return chart, which forms the house framework for the entire annual horoscope
Planetary positions — the zodiac sign, degree, house placement, nakshatra, retrograde status, and dignity indicators for all planets in the Varshaphal chart
Muntha — the progressed annual point with its sign, degree, house placement, lord identity and condition, and overall strength assessment
Varshesh (Year Lord) — the ruling planet of the Varshaphal year, determined by the lord of the sign occupied by the Sun at the solar return, along with its condition and significance
Panchavargeeya Bala — the five-fold Tajika strength scores for each planet, including individual sub-strength components and total composite scores with qualitative classifications
Tajika yogas — the significant planetary combinations present in the Varshaphal chart, including yoga names, the planets involved, and their strength and likely manifestation
House cusps and lords — the sign on each house cusp and the identity and condition of each house lord in the Varshaphal chart
Overall year assessment — summary indicators of the year's general tone and key themes based on the combined picture of Muntha, Varshesh, and dominant yogas
Complete annual horoscope generation — fetching all core Varshaphal data in a single request to power a full year-ahead reading without assembling results from multiple endpoints
Jyotish practitioners and astrology platforms — providing a one-call solution for client-facing annual forecast features that need to display a rich, multi-layered Varshaphal analysis
Dashboard and summary views — populating annual horoscope overview screens in astrology apps where a consolidated snapshot of the year's key indicators is needed before drilling into specific details
Year comparison tools — running the endpoint across multiple Varshaphal years to compare the overall astrological profile of different years side by side
Rapid prototyping and integration — using this endpoint as a single data source during development to understand the full shape of Varshaphal data before deciding which specialized endpoints to integrate
Educational demonstrations — illustrating the complete structure of a Varshaphal chart and how its various components interrelate, as part of Tajika system instruction
Delivers a consolidated multi-component response covering ascendant, planets, Muntha, Varshesh, Panchavargeeya Bala, yogas, and house data in a single call — reducing the number of API requests needed to build a complete Varshaphal reading
Computes the Varshesh (Year Lord) — a Tajika-specific indicator not present in natal chart analysis — and evaluates its condition and placement as a primary determinant of the year's overall quality
Includes Tajika yoga detection, identifying the specific planetary combinations (such as Ithasala, Ishrafa, Nakta, Yamaya, Kamboola, and others) that are active in the Varshaphal chart and assessing their strength and likely effects
Accepts both birth location and current location separately — birth data establishes the natal reference point, while current latitude, longitude, and timezone determine the Varshaphal ascendant and house framework
Accepts a target Varshaphal year (varshaphalYear) to compute the full chart details for any past, present, or future solar return year, enabling historical review and multi-year planning
Supports multiple Ayanamsha systems (e.g., Lahiri, Raman, KP) via the X-Ayanamsha header for sidereal calculations aligned with the practitioner's tradition
Designed for localization — the Accept-Language header controls the language of all descriptive, interpretive, and classificatory content in the response
Complements the suite of specialized Varshaphal endpoints (planets, chart image, Muntha, Panchavargeeya Bala, etc.) by serving as the primary overview endpoint, ideal for use cases that need breadth over depth in a single response
🌐 API responses available in 3 regional languages. Pass Accept-Languageparameter in request header with language code.
