Detailed Jadi Suggestions API

The Detailed Jadi Suggestions API provides Suggestions related calculations and insights based on Vedic Astrology principles. This endpoint is designed for astrology applications, report generation systems, horoscope platforms, and developer integrations requiring structured JSON responses and reliable REST API access.

Detailed Jadi Suggestions

Returns a comprehensive, astrology-based Jadi (medicinal herb and root) recommendation report personalized to an individual's birth chart. This endpoint performs a full Vedic astrological analysis of the provided birth data and produces an in-depth remedial profile for each recommended Jadi, making it suitable for practitioner reports, detailed client consultations, and feature-rich astrology or wellness applications.

What This API Does

This endpoint accepts a date, time, and geographic coordinates of birth, computes the individual's planetary positions using the specified Ayanamsha system, and maps those positions to their corresponding Jadis in the Vedic tradition. Jadis are sacred herbs, roots, and plant-based substances used in Vedic astrology as planetary remedies — each associated with a specific planet and used to strengthen, balance, or pacify its influence in the birth chart. Unlike the basic endpoint, this endpoint returns a full remedial profile for each Jadi, including its deeper astrological context, sourcing guidance, preparation methods, usage instructions, and any precautions.

Data Returned

The response includes, for each recommended Jadi:

  • Jadi identity — common name, Sanskrit name, botanical name, and the planet it is associated with

  • Associated planet and house — the planetary ruler and its position in the individual's birth chart that drives the recommendation

  • Astrological rationale — a detailed explanation of why this Jadi is recommended, based on the individual's planetary strengths, weaknesses, and house lordships

  • Remedial purpose — the specific life areas (e.g., health, career, mental clarity, spiritual growth) the Jadi is intended to support or correct

  • Usage instructions — how the Jadi should be used, including form (worn, consumed, placed), timing, and duration

  • Preparation guidance — recommended preparation method where applicable (e.g., worn as a root, made into a paste, used in ritual)

  • Sourcing notes — guidance on quality, form, and how to identify an authentic specimen

  • Contraindications — planetary configurations or health conditions under which the Jadi should be used with caution or avoided

  • Recommendation strength — an indication of how strongly the Jadi is indicated based on the full chart analysis

Main Use Cases

  • Jyotish practitioners — generating complete, client-ready Jadi remediation reports without manual chart analysis

  • Astrology platforms and apps — powering in-depth herbal remedy recommendation features for users seeking detailed Vedic guidance

  • Ayurveda and integrative wellness platforms — combining astrological and herbal wisdom to deliver personalized plant-based remedy plans

  • Spiritual and holistic health services — providing personalized Jadi prescriptions as part of broader wellness, life coaching, or ritual offerings

  • Educational astrology tools — illustrating the relationship between planetary positions and traditional Vedic herbal remedies in a structured, data-driven format

Key Functionality

  • Supports multiple Ayanamsha systems (e.g., Lahiri, Raman, KP) via the X-Ayanamsha header, ensuring compatibility with different Vedic astrology schools and practitioner preferences

  • Accepts precise birth time and location (latitude, longitude, timezone) for accurate planetary degree and house calculations

  • Returns planet-specific astrological reasoning for each recommendation, making the output suitable for direct use in client-facing reports and consultations

  • Includes practical usage and preparation detail that goes beyond identification — giving practitioners and users actionable guidance on how to work with each Jadi

  • Provides botanical identification alongside traditional names, bridging Vedic tradition with modern herbal practice

  • Designed for localization — the Accept-Language header controls the language of all descriptive content in the response

  • Complements the Basic Jadi Suggestions endpoint: use the basic endpoint for lightweight lookups and this endpoint when a full remedial herb report with complete guidance is required
